Elections underway in Angola

Voters in oil-rich Angola are heading for an historic change in an election marking the end of President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos' 38-year reign. His 63-year-old defence minister Joao Lourenco, a quiet man more used to the army barracks and the closed doors of party politics than the public spotlight, is standing for the governing MPLA party.

Plus, Egypt has protested a US decision to withhold some military aid, as a US delegation including presidential advisor Jared Kushner is in Cairo for meetings on the Middle East process.
