Police officer sacked for stealing carrier bags

Volunteer special constable Luke Hodgson was found to have failed to pay for the bags for the bags belonging to his other employer, Sainsbury's, three times in December 2025.

He was sacked by the supermarket following an internal disciplinary process, before facing an accelerated misconduct hearing about his role at West Mercia Police.
