The Crewe nurse breaking the stigma around stomas
Emma Raynes, who works at Leighton Hospital, on running ultra-marathons with a stoma to help raise awareness for others who have one. She had ran 3 ultra-marathons by October 2026, with her most recent being a 100-miler, and she's been able to raise enough money for the Specialist Stoma Service at Leighton Hospital, so they can buy kit to help train nurses and care workers.
