Two dead whales found in Thames Estuary

Two members who are believed to be part of a pod of 25 long-finned pilot whales spotted in the Thames Estuary last week, have been found dead.

A female whale was discovered on Canvey Island over the weekend, while a second, slightly smaller female was found in shallow water near East Tilbury on Friday evening.
