The postbox that's got Hanley talking
Hanley shoppers have their say on a fallen postbox in Market Square that is still out of action - three months after being hit by a vehicle.
A Stoke-on-Trent City Council spokesperson said :
“The post box is owned and maintained by Royal Mail. We understand concerns about its condition and have raised the issue several times with the local sorting office.
A spokesperson for Royal Mail said :
“We’re waiting for a crane to recover the damaged post box. A replacement box will then be installed.”
“We appreciate this has taken longer than we would have liked but it’ll be resolved as soon as possible.”
