'Kickboxing saved my mental health'
After his mum suffered a stroke in 2019, Tommy Shaw's life changed dramatically. The 21-year-old from Norton went into care and struggled to find direction, before signing up for a charity MMA fight to raise money for the Stroke Association. Speaking to Lee Blakeman, Tommy explains how that decision led him to discover a passion for kickboxing, a sport he now trains for seven days a week and credits with transforming his mental health.
