The secret behind Cheshire’s dementia snooker club
Ian Carter founded Congleton's 'No Tier Snooker' club to support people living with dementia, claiming the idea came from a friend's diagnosis.
But the truth was very different: it was Ian himself who had been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia.
Ian, his wife Cath and daughter Emma spoke to BBC Radio Stoke’s Lee Blakeman about the diagnosis and why they decided to keep it a secret.
