Farage insists rules followed on declaring benefits
Nigel Farage has insisted that he followed parliamentary rules, despite not declaring benefits provided by an ally once convicted of fraud in the US. The Sunday Times reported that George Cottrell, who served eight months in prison, supplied security and social media staff for the Reform UK leader in the year before he was elected as an MP. Mr Farage said he was the victim of what he called "an establishment hit job".
