No more 'Cammel Laird' in Birkenhead

The famous Cammell Laird name's being scrapped after the Birkenhead shipyard was sold to new owners.

Balaena, a Cornwall-based maritime engineering and shipbuilding group which operates five major facilities in the UK and Gibraltar, has purchased the yard for 150 million pounds.

In the future Cammell Laird will be known as Balaena Birkenhead.
