Future-Proofing the Workforce
What skills do young people need so they can find jobs that can't just be done by AI?
Some of the UK’s biggest employers - including NHS England, Network Rail and the Met Office - have signed an open letter to parents, warning that the world of work is rapidly changing due to the rise of Artificial Intelligence.
They want more families to consider the full range of education options, including technical qualifications - like T levels, HTQs, and Apprenticeships.
Michelle Rea from The Gatsby Charitable Foundation is one of the groups behind the letter and she spoke with BBC Radio Merseysides Tony Snell
