A Bank Holiday weekend of sunshine saw beaches like New Brighton packed with visitors enjoying the good weather, with sandcastles, kites and crowds making the most of the coast.

But once the crowds left, large amounts of litter and reports of antisocial behaviour and inconsiderate parking were left behind.
