Essex bride hitchhikes to wedding

An Essex couple's wedding day was saved when they hitched a lift from a passing driver, after being unable to get a taxi. Chloe and George Gardner from Hatfield Peverel were due to marry at Brighton Town Hall, but found themselves stranded on the seafront and could have been late for their ceremony.

The hitchhiking moment has now been viewed on socials by more than 4 million people...
