“Putrid” smell has ruined living here
Residents living near a waste-processing site in South Elmsall say action must be taken to clear it after the company was banned from operating. Mineral Processing Limited has been stripped of its environmental licence after hundreds of complaints about "putrid" smells and pollution coming from the land off Hacking Lane. The firm says it will comply with an order to clean up the waste, but residents say nothing's being done, and the smell is worse than ever. BBC reporter, Nicola Rees went to find out more.
