Crewe man devastated as guide dog retires
Scott Bailey on losing guide dog Milo and having to adjust to life without him. Scott lost his sight suddenly in 2019 because of complications with his diabetes, and was paired up with guide dog Milo. In the years since, the duo have visited Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister, starred in a Christmas campaign advert for guide dogs - and Scott has even taken on Judo for the visually impaired - training to compete in the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics. Sadly though, Milo has now been retired from work as a guide dog and BBC Radio Stoke's Lee Blakeman spoke with Scott about it.
