'Being an MP is my identity'
Labour MP Ashley Dalton speaks to Jonny Dymond.
Labour MP Ashley Dalton, who left her job as a health minister earlier this month to manage living with cancer, said she "did not consider" stepping down as an MP.
She was diagnosed with cancer more than a decade ago, and told the World At One her work as the MP for West Lancashire is a “strong sense of my identity”.
