Friends of Bartley Park in Totton won the Green Award in BBC Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards for 2025.
David Young founded the group to improve the local area and bring wildlife back to the park. He's been chatting to BBC Radio Solent's Rick Jackson about winning the Green Award.
The Make a Difference Awards recognise and celebrate people, across eight different categories, who are going above and beyond to make a difference where they live.
The awards are a chance to say "thank you" and show recognition and appreciation for people who love to make life better for others.
Nominations for the 2026 Make a Difference Awards close on Tuesday 31st March at 5pm.
