Birstall United Beat The Weather

It was yet another weekend of disruption for many of our non-league sides.

Because of the recent poor weather, many local pitches were still underwater and so for some teams this was their third weekend of no football.

One match that did go ahead in the Midland League Division 1 (Step 6) was at Meadow Lane where promotion chasing Birstall United had home advantage over Stapenhill.
