Bishop of Chelmsford: ‘mixed feelings’ over Iran
The Bishop of Chelmsford says she has 'mixed thoughts' as fighting continues across the Middle East in the US-Israeli war with Iran. The US President Donald Trump has stated the aim of the operation is to "ensure that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon" and has urged people living there to overthrow the clerical regime.
The Right Reverend Dr Guli Francis-Dehqani is from Iran and came to the UK following the murder of her brother during the Iranian revolution of 1980.
