How Lynsey Addario became a war photographer

Love + War is a film about war photographer, Lynsey Addario, the winner of Pulitzer prizes and many other awards for her work over the past couple of decades. She has covered all the conflicts of our time - from Libya, to Afghanistan, Sudan and Ukraine.

That's where the film - a production for National Geographic takes us. The camera follows her as she goes about her daily assignments to document wars.

Lynsey came into our studio and spoke to Weekend's Krupa Padhy, who began by asking how she felt being in front of the camera this time - rather than behind it.
