900 year old Kendal woman's face reconstructed
Skeletons from 14 bodies were found buried at Holy Trinity Kendal Parish Church by the Environment Agency when working on a flood management scheme in 2022. The skull was in good enough condition for scientists at Liverpool John Moores University to use computer technology to reconstruct what she might have looked like.
