Flag Fen ‘will rise from the ashes’

Staff and volunteers at Flag Fen Archaeology Park in Peterborough say they will rise ‘Phoenix-like’ after its replica Iron Age roundhouse was destroyed in a suspected arson attack.

The park say the flames were 20 metres high, and the swift work of the fire service saved many priceless ancient artefacts.
