Three Essex towns promised ‘millions’
If you were handed twenty millions pounds to improve where you live, what would you spend it on? Three Essex towns have been promised exactly that, with the aim of "restoring pride in their neighbourhoods".
Canvey Island, Clacton-on-Sea and Harlow will each receive the same amount of government funding to pay for improvements.
