Barclays tech outage leaves family without a home
A Melton woman was left with no home for three days following a technical error at Barclays Bank.
Thousands of customers complained of issues over the weekend that caused problems with payments and transactions.
For Emily McAllister and her family, the fault came at the worst possible time, as she's been explaining to BBC Radio Leicester's Conor O'Grady.
A Barclays spokesperson apologised for the distress caused. "We have reviewed this case and are in contact with this customer, and we will update them on a resolution as quickly as possible," they said. "We will ensure that no impacted customer is left out of pocket."
