Darlington schools receive support for SEND children
The government announced that 740 million pounds would be used to help mainstream schools adapt their buildings to accommodate children with special educational needs. Reid Street Primary in Darlington already offers some facilities and support for SEND children, including special classrooms, and specially trained staff.
Principal, Paula Ayto, spoke to Claudia Robinson all about how important the additional money announced by the government will be for them and other mainstream schools.
