Colchester's Jumbo awarded £8m
A Victorian landmark in Colchester has been awarded £8 million pounds of National Lottery funding, to help with urgent repairs.
Known to many as 'jumbo' - the 40m (131ft) high Balkerne water tower was completed in 1883 and could hold up to 1,000 tons of water.
