PhD post viewed over 100 million times

A Cambridge Academic has found herself bombarded by internet trolls after posting a very innocent photo of a proud moment.

Dr Ally Louks put a picture of herself with her completed PhD thesis on the X platform, formerly Twitter.

It's been viewed over 100 million times and attracted more than 11 thousand responses.

Many people replied with congratulations, but there's also been a staggering amount of abuse as Dotty McLeod hears from Dr Ally Louks.
