Essex church break-in causes £15k damage
An Essex church which dates to the early 14th century has been vandalised for the second time in a month, causing £15,000 worth of damage.
Since the break-in on Sunday at St Margaret’s in Bowers Gifford, the local community has raised more than five thousand for repairs, in just 24 hours.
Two boys, aged 15 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage.
Despite the vandalism, Reverend David Ibiayo is remaining positive...
