Paradise found
Long lost handwritten notes by one of Britain’s most famous poets have been verified by experts at the University of Cambridge.
The thoughts of 17th century historian and intellect John Milton, were discovered in a copy of a book discovered in a library in Phoenix, Arizona.
In his early years, Milton studied at Christ's College, Cambridge. Paradise Lost is his epic work published in 1667.
Professor Jason Scott-Warren, from the University of Cambridge’s English faculty, was consulted to confirm the handwriting was Milton’s.
