
What you can do if your application for PIP has been denied
Personal Independence Payment, or PIP, is a type of disability benefit to help both working and non-working people. It's currently claimed by more than 3 million in Britain but it has been hitting the headlines after the government started a 12 week consultation that would make it harder for people to qualify.
The BBC's Cost of Living Correspondent Colletta Smith explains what the benefit is and if you're entitled to it. Plus she's got some much needed reassurance for people worried about the system changing, including how to get help with an appeal if you're application has been denied.
