What next for Lower Thames Crossing?
A final decision will be made next month about a new long-awaited tunnel between Essex and Kent. Plans for what would be the longest car tunnel in the UK were drawn up 15 years ago in 2009, and the project has so far cost £850 million.
Neil Speight is an independent Thurrock councillor and represents Stanford-le-Hope West and sits on the Lower Thames Crossing Committee and Ian Taylor is from the Alliance of British Drivers.
