Meet the record breaking drummer from Longton
Craig Flackett, of the local band Stickman Stays, drummed for 25 continuous hours breaking the world record for the longest time spent drumming in a church.
He started playing on Saturday and finished in time for the 11am service on Sunday, all to raise funds for his local church, an independent charity that supports the surrounding community.
Bethel Church in Longton is a registered 'Safe Place' for people who find themselves in a vulnerable situation and volunteers provide hot food, shelter and other essentials to the elderly and those with mental health needs or disabilities.
