Herefordshire villagers "disgusted" by littering
Balfour Beatty has said sorry after one of their workers was spotted throwing mounds of rubbish into a hedgerow - down a country lane which already suffers fly-tipping problems.
The workers were repairing potholes in Putley last month when one of them opened the van up and threw rotting fruit, pasties, sandwiches and other waste into the hedges.
Our reporter Tom Edwards went to meet the parish lengthsman Rob Turner and resident Kerry Harrington, who saw it unfold.
