From Tehran to Shrewsbury

"Black Jungle" is the Shropshire song of the month for November by Avije. Avije was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Shrewsbury with her family at the age of 9. Avije has received funding by the Arts Council that has allowed her to explore her Persian, Jamaican and Irish heritage via music.
She spoke to BBC Radio Shropshire's Michaela Wylde.
