France shooting: 'Nahel's family are devastated and completely in shock'

Thousands of people are marching through the streets of Nanterre, a Paris suburb, in tribute to a 17-year-old boy who was shot dead by French police on Tuesday.

The killing of the teenager, named Nahel, prompted riots in towns and cities on Tuesday and Wednesday nights - violence described by the interior minister as unacceptable.

With the authorities anticipating another night of violence, there'll be curfews in some areas of Paris - on top of the closure of tram and bus services.

Shortly before the charges against the police officer involved were announced, Newshour's James Menendez spoke to the lawyer for the boy's family, Yassine Bouzrou.
