Deborah: why I offered my spare room to a Ukrainian family
A year after the war in Ukraine started, BBC CWR’s Georgia Gill has been hearing from Ukrainians who found safety in Coventry and Warwickshire and people who've helped them. Deborah and husband Dave opened their house to Mariia and her two young children after deciding they had the room and wanted to help. Thanks to her, and the Warwickshire community, they are now feeling safe and settled in their temporary home.
