How Baz Luhrmann's 'Elvis' shook up biopics in 2022
It was neither an action movie nor a superhero franchise - but Baz Luhrmann's biopic 'Elvis' was still one of the biggest hits in cinemas this year.
It's made a star out of Californian actor Austin Butler, who takes on the iconic role of singer Elvis Presley, and also features Tom Hanks playing Elvis's manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
Luhrmann, whose past work includes 'Moulin Rouge' and 'Romeo and Juliet', told BBC Talking Movies how we was on a mission, to bring young and old film lovers back to the big screen in 2022.
