"My mother and sister live in Kyiv"

Maria is a Ukrainian, living in Horsham with her husband and three children.

Her 69 year old mother still lives in Kyiv, along with her sister, nephews and many friends. Maria says with airspace closed and shelling on the roads, the safest thing is for them to stay put.
