Flying home for Christmas!
The BBC's Francesca Carpenter joined excited families at RNAS Culdrose this week. The Royal Navy’s Carrier Strike Group 2021 (CSG 21) has been deployed to the Far East and Indo/Pacific region, having departed the UK in May this year. Led by HMS Queen Elizabeth, the Task Group - over nearly seven months away - has supported and exercised with partner nations as well as carried out operations around the UK, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, South China Sea and the Pacific. Elements of the CSG 21 are returning home, for Christmas to their Royal Naval Base Ports and Fleet Air Arm Air Stations, across the South Coast.
