Thomas Sandgaard: 'It's been very hard - we needed to do something'
Charlton Athletic have sacked manager Nigel Adkins after seven months in charge at The Valley.
The Addicks have won only two out of 13 League One matches and are in the relegation zone after their 3-2 home loss to Accrington on Tuesday.
Owner Thomas Sandgaard joined BBC Radio London's Andy Rowley to discuss the decision to part company with Adkins - and also expressed his desire to allow Johnnie Jackson to take over the role of manager on a permanent basis.
