He takes an early morning canoe trip and hears a story of incredible bravery. On this walk he also visits the village of Fairbourne, and takes a ride on its special small-scale train. Archaeologist Dr Erin Lloyd-Jones goes in search of local gold and Matt Bassett goes star-gazing… but is defeated by the Welsh weather.
