Davey to nine million carers: I will be your voice

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey says his party’s values are “patriotic, internationalist and always pro-European”.

But too many people “think we’re out of touch with what they want", he adds.

In his conference speech, delivered by video, he speaks about caring for his parents and son, and tells fellow carers: "I will be your voice.”
