Abbott for UK Board of Trade 'such a bad idea'

Appointing former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott as a UK trade representative would be "awful" a Conservative MP has said.

Caroline Nokes, who chairs Parliament's Women and Equalities Committee, told BBC2’s Politics Live said he was a "misogynist" with “poor” views on LGBTQ rights.

She added: “I just don't think this is a man who should be anywhere near our board of trade."
