Are Disabled Toilets Really Accessible?
Whilst people are largely more aware of accessibility issues nowadays, there remains a significant struggle amongst many people with disabilities - going to the toilet. Kiana Kalantar discusses the problems that she and many others continue to experience when faced with the challenge of manoeuvring around a closet-sized loo.
Whilst the Changing Places toilets have provided more accessible spaces in new builds, the majority of buildings remain deprived of a room of sufficient size and equipment. Something has to be done so that EVERYONE is able to pee without any problems.
