Why can't mothers be friends with their adult sons?

BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour listener Trisha wonders why so many people find it odd that she and her adult son get on so well. She tells Jane Garvey about the sometimes hilarious misconceptions people have about their friendship, and says we should celebrate mother-son friendships as much as we celebrate mother-daughter friendships.
