President Donald Trump's nominee for the vacant Supreme Court seat has begun four days of Senate hearings.
There are opposing views of Judge Brett Kavanaugh - some see him as a man who count tilt America to the right for a generation, others as a man driven by law rather than politics.
We asked New York University Law Professor Richard Pildes how this appointment will change the Supreme Court.
