Laura Kuenssberg defends Love Island contestants
The subject of Love Island came up on the latest episode of Brexicast, after some of the contestants started a Brexit discussion.
Islander Hayley admitted she didn’t know what Brexit was and asked whether it meant we ‘wouldn’t have any trees’.
But the BBC’s political editor Laura Kuenssberg came to her defence, saying anyone who sneered at her “needs to have a chat with themselves”.
She also says everyone else in the discussion “knew exactly what Brexit is about.”
