In session

Worcester quintet Heronimus Fin have had their music mastered by the same man who’s worked on U2 and Rolling Stones tracks, been guests on Channel 4’s Big Breakfast and went fifteen years between album releases.
The band were voted in the 500 most collectable artists by readers of UK Magazine ‘Record Collector’ reaching #165, above such notables as The Stereophonics, Cream and The Eagles. In their final poll of 2002, The White Stripes, Foo Fighters and Robert Plant all finished lower!
“Melodic with lush prog undertones delivered by stalwarts of the Midlands’ music scene” - Andrew Marston.

On tour

A Worcester band have been braving the snow this week...playing their first shows abroad.
The Loved & Lost are a five-piece, female fronted, hard rock band from Worcester and Bromsgrove who are performing three times across Sweden.
They say: "We believe that no matter how good we are, get, or are not, people won't have fun unless we do, so we always have a ton of energy and use every last drop on stage."
When they're not writing or performing, they're out enjoying shows and festivals.

BBC Music Introducing in Bromsgrove

This month's sessions were recorded at the Artrix in Bromsgrove.
The centre is not just an award winning place to see live music in Bromsgrove, but it also hosts live screenings, comedy, theatre, dance, visual arts and film - and to give you an insight into the sheer amount of choice it provides to Bromsgrove and the surrounding towns, earlier in the day it hosted a Baby Rave - where Cbeebies meets '90s dance!
Last year, they were awarded Worcestershire's Best Theatre Venue and welcomed more than 27,000 visitors to their 300-seat auditorium, studio space, cafe, meeting rooms, play area and galleries.

Musicians' Masterclass: Frank Carter & The Hunna

It was the biggest new music business gathering to ever to be held in the UK, with more than 100 sessions and 250 speakers ensuring every aspect of the music business was covered.
Held across three days, Amplify offered exclusive access to the UK music industry’s biggest names through intimate talks, music masterclasses and recording workshops.
This week, we hear from The Hunna and their manager Carl Hitchbourn; a band that gained a top 20 record and sold out the O2 Academy in Brixton within their first two years. We also get top tips from Frank Carter who began his career as a rock singer, in 2005, with Gallows. Two years later, he released his first studio album after signing a £1m deal with Warner Bros. Frank left the band, after the deal ended, going on to create Pure Love (who are currently on hiatus). In 2015, his new group, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, released their debut album and have taken the festival circuit by storm.
