'Pod Save America': Fighting Trump with a podcast

Three former President Obama speechwriters say they hope to offer an alternative view of what is happening in the Trump administration with their podcast "Pod Save America".

Unlike much of talk radio in the United States, Jon Lovett, Jon Favreau and Tommy Vietor are firmly Democrat in their views and have attracted an audience of millions, including in the UK.

As Jon Favreau tells BBC Radio 4's reporter Luke Jones "I don't think you convert people by lying and pretending to be some centralist, objective pundit when everyone knows we worked with Obama and have liberal positions".
