Trinity Mirror profits up 24%
Trinity Mirror, the UK's largest newspaper, magazine and digital publisher, has just announced its full year results.
In January, Trinity Mirror confirmed it was in early talks to buy a stake in the Express.
Asked whether the company will buy Express Newspapers, the chief executive Simon Fox says he won't comment directly, but says "consolidation is part of our strategy".
Commenting on the latest results, Mr Fox said that digital advertising now accounts for 25% of advertising income, compared with 7% in 2012.
