Aleppo resident: My first tomato in 40 days
Divided between government-controlled west and rebel-held east for the past four years, fighting in the Aleppo, Syria's second city, has escalated in recent days.
Abdul Kalif is an English teacher who moved to Aleppo at the start of the civil war.
Mr Kalif spoke to Paddy O'Connell about life under siege.
